How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from inside the app: go to Settings › Manage Subscription, which opens your iOS subscription settings.
You can also cancel directly in iOS: Settings app › [Your Name] › Subscriptions › FamilyPlate AI › Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of your current billing period.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
New subscribers get 7 days of full access to FamilyPlate AI free. You won't be charged during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically begins at the price you signed up for.
You can cancel anytime during the trial and keep access until the trial period ends.
I subscribed on another device. How do I restore my subscription?
Open the app and go to Settings › Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID that you used to purchase the subscription. Your subscription will be reactivated automatically.
Why does the app ask to verify my home Wi-Fi?
Family plans are shared with members of one household. To prevent plan-sharing across multiple households, the app occasionally checks that at least one household member's device has connected to your home Wi-Fi within the last 60 days. We store only a hashed identifier — never your network name or password.
You can use the app from anywhere; we just ask any household member to connect from home at least once every 60 days.
Can I add a child to my family plan?
FamilyPlate AI requires all family members to be 16 years or older. Members under 16 cannot be added at this time. We may revisit family-with-kids features in a future release with the appropriate parental controls.
How accurate is the AI nutrition recognition?
Our AI ingredient recognition and barcode lookups draw from large nutrition databases and are usually accurate within typical home-cooking ranges. They are estimates and not a substitute for medical or dietary advice.

How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings › Sign Out, then email privacy@familyplateai.com from your account email and ask for full deletion. We process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
Which devices do you support?
FamilyPlate AI is available on iPhone running iOS 17 or later. We're working on iPad and Apple Watch support.
Health and fitness sync supports Apple Watch, Apple HealthKit, RingConn, and Myzone.
